So I'm just wondering... a couple of things, really. First of all, how many people are here who are under the age of twenty? It feels like that's a lot of people here - more than you'd usually see in any kind of population. Has anyone tracked that kind of stuff?

And second...

How many people had what people might call... powers or abilities or magic at home? Like, stuff that most people can't do but you can do? I'm not counting if you come from some kind of world where magic is common, but where it's rare and people would stare at you for doing it, that's what I mean.

Sure, that counts. It's just weird that there's so many people near my age outside of a school or something.

Weird, really? I've never really noticed. ...I mean, well, I guess I never really notice these things anyway, but...

I dunno. Unless the older people just aren't using the network as much.

Could be? The older you are, the harder it is to learn to use new stuff, right? So maybe there are older people around who aren't really used to the Pokegears and stuff.

Might be. I dunno. Or maybe there's just... people here that look younger to me that are older than I think they are.

That could be too. You never know, with all the worlds that people are from.

Yeah. We're all biased towards what we think is normal, I guess.

Something like that. And it takes a while to get used to something different. I know I still am, even after this long.

Yeah. I've only been here since September.

A little over four years, myself. But a few months is a while too.

I'm starting to settle in, but it's still sometimes hard to believe that I can do things like carry a giant bear in my pocket in a ball.

Can't blame you there. Even with Sion's right there, I still sometimes get stuck on the horses that are on fire...

It's okay. It's kind of hard to explain... I forget not everyone has the same level of technology at home.

Nah, it's fine. I'm kind of at a disadvantage anyway. We have magic back home, but Pokegears? Televisions? Microwaves? Seriously, whoever invented the microwave was a genius.

At least you don't know how they work to use them. Just how to use them.
