[Tobias isn't usually the most excited and bouncy of people, but today he looks absolutely overjoyed. Why? Well... the reason is standing next to him, in the form of a bird as big as him. He has an arm around the bird's neck, grinning from ear to ear.]

Regal evolved! It took him a while, but he finally did it!

[He gives the bird a squeeze, and nuzzles his feathers. When he looks at the camera again, his cheeks are a little wet. ... He's not crying. Shush.]

Now all we need to do is to get him a Fly HM, and we can take to the skies. I'm really really proud of him. He worked really hard to do this.

[... He's gonna start crying again, so he just smiles a little shakily and turns off the recording.]

Well... in that case there's not a lot they can do other than try to get out of there. Crows are really smart, and a lot of the time other birds will just avoid them to not deal with them. At least from what I've seen.

Man, why do crows even pull stunts like that? Boredom? I get that they're smart, but unless it's a territorial thing, I don't get it.

Probably boredom, yeah. I haven't exactly asked a crow.

Well, it's not like they could talk back, right? So unless you're some kinda bird whisperer, it might be tough.

I don't know that they can understand English. They might, but only after a lot of training.

Hmm. Well, there's always Murkrows. Pretty sure they can pick up on English, but that might just be a Pokémon thing.

It might be. It's kind of hard to compare Pokemon and animals.

True. Pokémon do seem a bit closer to humans. But I guess that depends on the animal, too. I know some animals aren't that far behind us.

Yeah. Whales and dolphins are really intelligent. So are a lot of monkeys and apes.

[He's gotten in enough animal heads to know that some really aren't that different.]
