[Desperate to find some release from this armless hell, Henry heaves himself to his feet and quickly leads the way outside. He was going to fly! He was going to fly!]
[Henry stands tall and spreads his wings out to their full length. It feels pretty good since he's spent so much time keeping them clamped close to his body to avoid knocking things over. Then he gives several mighty, though uncoordinated flaps, whipping up grass and dust from the yard.]
[As excited as he's getting, he's a good student and after a few more minutes of careful rowing motions, he gives a hearty flap and manages to push himself a couple of inches off the ground before touching down.]
[The ole poke'brain is starting to kick in now and Henry's excitement helps it right along. He follows Tobias's command and this time gets a good foot. Brown feathers flutter all around him.]
[Action]
[Stupid dumb thin Wingull wings.]
[Action]
...
...can you show me?
[Action]
[Action]
What's first?
[Action]
Let's see. First, let me see you flap a little bit. Spread your wings, and let yourself get some air under there.

[Maybe it's not the same thing... but it's close. He flaps his wings in time, letting them fall into a smooth rhythm.]

[That makes a lot more sense.]
[Slowly he begins to mimic Tobias. This is a much less exhausting exercise.]
Like this? Do we jump off the roof next?
no subject
[He flaps hard again, getting an inch or so off the ground before landing again.]

Alright.
[As excited as he's getting, he's a good student and after a few more minutes of careful rowing motions, he gives a hearty flap and manages to push himself a couple of inches off the ground before touching down.]
Did you see that!
no subject
Yeah! Good job, Henry! Now try it again!
no subject
What do we do next?
[He REALLY wants to jump off that roof, man.]

[Trust him. He knows. He has broken wings a lot before, it's not fun. And they can't morph here to fix injuries.]
