[Sure enough, Henry invites Tobias in when the Wingullboy arrives. Hootman is sitting on the sofa attempting to hold a pair of garden shears with his mouth and the crook of one arm. His wings are nicely formed, even flight functional.]
[He nods, and his Scizor approaches, doing his best to be gentle. The Clawitzer points her claw to direct him, since she's... a little too short.]
Seagulls... they scavenge, and they don't kill their own food. They're also everywhere near the beach, and they're super loud. And they're super easily distracted when you morph into one, so it's hard to focus on your mission.
[An idea comes to him as Tobias's pokemon finally manage to free him from his polyester prison. He stands and shakes himself out, giving his wing arms a few hearty flaps.]
[Desperate to find some release from this armless hell, Henry heaves himself to his feet and quickly leads the way outside. He was going to fly! He was going to fly!]
[Henry stands tall and spreads his wings out to their full length. It feels pretty good since he's spent so much time keeping them clamped close to his body to avoid knocking things over. Then he gives several mighty, though uncoordinated flaps, whipping up grass and dust from the yard.]
[As excited as he's getting, he's a good student and after a few more minutes of careful rowing motions, he gives a hearty flap and manages to push himself a couple of inches off the ground before touching down.]
[voice]
[Because with how those things look... it might be a problem.]
[voice]
[Pants are hard right now.]

[ACTION]
Thank God you're here.
[Action]
Why are you doing that? Your wings look fine.
[Action]
They're in the way, I haven't been able to change out of this shirt since they grew in!
[Action]
[His Scizor and Clawitzer wander in behind him, looking slightly confused.]
I wish I'd gotten yours, at least it's a bird that's not mainly a scavenger.
[Action]
You'll have to cut it off of me...there isn't a lot I can do like this.
[A beat.]
Why do you hate seagulls so much?
[Action]
Seagulls... they scavenge, and they don't kill their own food. They're also everywhere near the beach, and they're super loud. And they're super easily distracted when you morph into one, so it's hard to focus on your mission.
[Action]
Okay...hey. Do those work?
[Action]
Yeah, they do. Not super well, but...
[Action]
Thanks. You don't think mine could, do you?
[Action]
[Stupid dumb thin Wingull wings.]
[Action]
...
...can you show me?
[Action]
[Action]
What's first?
[Action]
Let's see. First, let me see you flap a little bit. Spread your wings, and let yourself get some air under there.

[Maybe it's not the same thing... but it's close. He flaps his wings in time, letting them fall into a smooth rhythm.]

[That makes a lot more sense.]
[Slowly he begins to mimic Tobias. This is a much less exhausting exercise.]
Like this? Do we jump off the roof next?

[He flaps hard again, getting an inch or so off the ground before landing again.]

Alright.

Did you see that!

Yeah! Good job, Henry! Now try it again!
