[... Oh. Tobias happened to look at the date, and think back. It's... weird to think that he's been here so long, but he feels the need to reflect on it. He's not really a public person, but... there are things he has to say. So when he turns the video on, it's with him sitting on a couch with Regal's head on his lap.]

I didn't notice it earlier in the month, but I've been here a year. Kind of. I mean... I went home for a bit but I came back, so adding it all together I've spent a year here. It's... kind of weird here, still. Not that I'm a stranger to weird creatures, but it's... different. This place is nice, and with the exception of one of those teams starting trouble, it's peaceful here.

[He looks down to scratch Regal's head gently, before looking back at the camera.]

... There's a lot of people here that don't care who you are or where you came from, and I mean that in a good way. As long as you don't start trouble with people, people are usually nice. You could have been someone high ranking or you could have been the janitor or something, and it doesn't matter. I mean... I'm a bird most of the time at home, and people here don't seem to mind. People are friendly and nice and...

[He needs to stop that line of thinking, he's having an emotion.]

... I mean. ... There's a lot of great people here. And as far as I'm concerned... this place is more of a home than a lot of places I've been. So... I guess I just wanted to say thanks to people, even the people who aren't here anymore. And... here's to some more great years.

[He turns the camera to Regal, who squawks happily at the feed, before turning off the Pokegear.]

That's a really long time ... but it doesn't really feel like it, does it? I've been here for over half a year now but sometimes I forget.

Yeah. It's... weird like that. But it's nice, at least. Even with all of the weird things... I think I'd rather be here than at home.

I miss home sometimes. But I know a lot more people here.

I really...like that people don't really care who you were before here. It's nice.

Yeah, it is. It takes a little bit to get used to it, especially if you're... not really used to being open about things... but people don't really judge you for whatever it was that you did. As long as you weren't like an axe murderer or something...

At home I got the power to turn into whatever animal I touched. There's... a time limit, though. I went over the time limit and got stuck. I got the power back later, but with a hawk as my 'normal' form. So... unless I wanted to give up that power, I had to stay like that.

... But it's okay. Being a bird isn't that bad. I can still talk, though it's mind to mind rather than out loud.

(He...lost her. Sansa stares for a few awkward moments before trying to understand.)

By power do you mean magic? (It's nothing she has heard of before.) Can you harness it here and become one of the Pokémon?

It's... technically not magic but it might as well be. And no, I can't use it here. No one can use any sort of special ability they have here.

Mhmn. Or you can even just...start over, for a little while, if you don't want to bring it up in the first place. I guess it's natural for everyone and their thoughts on things to be different, though, since we're all from such different places.
