What do you do when you can't sleep? Probably a stupid question, but it's too quiet here. Too much time to think about things.

If that's not a good question for you, then what's there to do here at night other than look for the nocturnal kinds of Pokemon? I grew up near the coast, in the suburbs. There was always at least something open, but here the towns are kind of... smaller.

I tend to plan things when I can't sleep. Nothing elaborate, most of the time; just things that will make the next day tolerable, if it's a matter of thinking too much about things. If it's bad enough I don't trouble myself with "tolerable" and just focus on "bearable."

Is it insomnia keeping you awake? I've heard that there's medicine here that can help with that, but I've never tried it.

If it's not insomnia, then maybe you can try figuring out what's keeping you awake. Is it stress or anxiety or something? Is it excitement? Maybe just focusing on what's keeping you up could help.

I usually have issues sleeping, so I tend to explore the city at night. There are definitely places still open at strange hours if you're in Goldenrod, but otherwise... Well, I'm not very familiar with most of the other towns. You might be able to find something still open, like a diner or something.

I know what that's like. It's really rough, especially if there's some unresolved business back home.

You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but is it something you feel guilty over? I know that's kept me awake plenty of times in the past.

Yeah. But I still worry.

There isn't really any way to stop worrying. I think the most you can do is take comfort in the fact that they're not moving on without you there. You'll return eventually and things will continue as if you had never left.

I don't see a lot of people out here. Do most people stay in inns at night?

Yeah, most of them do. Camping's fine most of the time, but I think the majority of people will take a bed when they have the chance.

I prefer sleeping out here. It's nicer.
